Privacy
This is a simple, single-page website with no accounts and no forms. Analytics and advertising cookies are used only if you accept them in the cookie banner. This page explains what personal data is involved and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Mestereaga Consortio P & C SRL, Romania, represented by Paul Meștereagă. You can reach us at contact@paulmestereaga.com.
What we process and why
- Visiting the site. When you load a page, your browser sends technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. Our hosting provider uses it to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Analytics and advertising, only with your consent. If you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, the site loads Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel. They record which pages you visit, how you got here, your device and browser type, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and whether you click the email link. We use this to understand visits and to measure and target ads on Meta (Facebook, Instagram). Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you click “Reject” or ignore the banner, neither tool is loaded.
- Emailing us. If you write to contact@paulmestereaga.com, we receive your email address, name and whatever you include in the message, and use it only to reply and follow up. Legal basis: steps at your request before a possible contract, or our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you.
Who else receives data
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting and content delivery for this website.
- Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC — Google Analytics 4 (only with consent).
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd — Meta Pixel (only with consent).
- Zoho Corporation — email hosting for contact@paulmestereaga.com.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Where that happens, transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Links to other sites (LinkedIn, GitHub, Instagram, Toptal, megs.media, movesigned.com) are governed by those sites' own privacy policies once you follow them.
Cookies
Your cookie choice is stored in your browser's local storage, so the banner doesn't appear on every visit. That's strictly necessary and contains no personal data. If you accept, these cookies are set:
- _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics): distinguish visitors and sessions. Kept for up to 2 years.
- _fbp, _fbc (Meta): identify browsers for ad measurement. Kept for up to 90 days.
You can change your choice at any time with , also linked in the footer. Rejecting after you have accepted removes these cookies from this site. Meta and Google also offer their own settings at facebook.com/settings and adssettings.google.com.
How long we keep it
Technical access data is kept by the hosting provider only for the short period needed for delivery and security. Google Analytics data is kept for at most 14 months, the longest Google Analytics allows. Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting work, and are then deleted, unless we must keep them longer to meet a legal obligation, such as accounting rules.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your personal data, and for its correction, deletion or transfer. You can also restrict how it is used, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. To use any of these rights, email contact@paulmestereaga.com. We reply within one month.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Romania, that is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), dataprotection.ro.
Changes
If what this site collects changes, this page will be updated, along with the date at the top.
